Digitas, the networked experience agency and division of Publicis Groupe, is now the media agency of record for Supergoop!, the skincare and beauty brand.
The agency won the account early this month in a competitive pitch and will lead efforts from its New York office with an assist from its Boston headquarters.
Digitas duties in this new assignment is to handle paid search, paid social, display, video, retail strategy, influencer and data and analysis to augment the brand’s growth.
Some of Digitas agency client roster includes Walmart, Crocs, Norwegian Cruise Line and Sephora.
Supergoop! was founded by Holly Thaggard. In fall 2021, Blackstone’s growth fund bought a majority stake in the brand at a $600 million to $700 million valuation. At the time of the announcement, the firm said Blackstone’s investment will boost the company’s product range into the athletes and babies markets, while extending its geographical reach to China.
