Ojie Ehianeta appointed as Head of portfolio Pernod Ricard

Pernod Ricard Nigeria has announced the appointment of Ojie Ehianeta the new Head of Portfolio.

Ojie is a seasoned marketing strategist with an impressive track record of crafting and executing digital strategies that drive the financial and corporate goals of top-tier companies like Coca-Cola, MTN, ARM Pensions, Unilever, and Pernod Ricard.

In his new role, Ojie will oversee profitability, sales, and equity growth of the “Impress and Night Out” brands, which include Martell, Chivas, GH Mumm, and Avion. His extensive experience and innovative approach are expected to further elevate these brands in the competitive market.

The official statement by Pernod Ricard on LinkedIn read: “With this new appointment, Pernod Ricard Nigeria is poised for continued success and growth. We can’t wait to see the innovative strategies and exciting developments Ehianeta Ojie will bring to the table.”

on his own part in a Linked post by Ojie, he said: “It is with great excitement that I accept the challenge that comes with transitioning into this new role as Head of Portfolio at Pernod Ricard Nigeria.”

Prior to his promotion, he was the Head of Digital Marketing and Media for Western Africa and also served as a Digital Marketing Specialist. Before joining Pernod Ricard, Ojie worked as the Digital Marketing Manager at PHD where he was responsible for establishing PHD’s digital marketing team, which was tasked with attracting new and retaining existing clients through the creation of award-winning pitches.

Ojie has over 10 years experience in offering cross-functional skill in performance marketing, integrated marketing communications, digital marketing, brand management, and strategic planning for brands throughout West Africa. He has crafted strategies for a variety of brands, including Coca-Cola, Samsung, ARM Pensions, Mondelez, Unilever, BetKing, LG, Kimberly-Clark, Jameson, and Martell. He holds a degree from the University of Benin, an MBA with a focus on marketing from the University of Lagos, and a marketing certification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK. He also has a professional certification in design thinking from Harvard Business School and a product management certificate from the Product School.
