As part of an historic ceremony to mark its 20 years of impactful business operation in Nigeria, Soulcomms, one of the leading Public Relations (PR) agencies in the country, also unveiled a new brand logo.

The impressive event which was held at the company’s premises in Opebi Ikeja, Lagos had in attendance, Soulcomms’ staff, partners, PR practitioners, clients and media partners.

Speaking during the event on how the SOULCOMMS’ journey started, Udeme Ufot, Co-Founder and Group Managing Director of SO&U Limited, noted that it’s been an amazing journey of 20 years of resilience and team work that got the agency where it is today.

“It’s been amazing 20years of how far the company has gone by so quickly, ups and downs, great accomplishments, and teamwork. I appreciate some former employees who have left, but are here tonight to celebrate with us.”

“We consider this very strategic when you manage corporate communications you really cannot go into offering pure advertising. We’ve always believed in the greater marketing communication. And so from that vision, Soulcomms began to grow into an independent entity It’s is also worth noting that Soulcomms was the second subsidiary of SO&U.

He added that Soulcomms had gone through four leadership succession. And in the last two years, the company has grown to be the most autonomous SO&U subsidiary, because its client base has broken through the typical SO&U client base.

Also speaking on what keeps the agency waxing strong for so long, Mojisola Saka, Chief Operating Officer, Soulcomms Limited, noted that one of the things that has been the strength at the firm is its resilience and doggedness.

He continued: “At Soulcomms the team maintains good relationship and team spirit. We have always maintained a united front that is why we have people who work in this establishment for many years. We have gone through many challenges that any business can possibly go through, and today we stand, and we have stood in the last 20 years stronger, bigger and better.”

During the unveiling of the logo, Ufot noted that after 20years of operation, there is the need for renewal and refreshing. So renewing the company’s logo is a strategic regeneration by Soulcomms for new deliveries, new style and the new level of finales that SOULCOMMS is evolving into.

Also explaining the concept behind the logo revamp, Mrs. Saka said it symbolizes a strategic and engaging company that brings hope, continuously engaging and conversation.

The company hinted that, Mojisola Saka will be passing the baton to Ugochukwu Uwajeh, a seasoned PR and strategic communications consultant. Until his recent appointment as Chief Operating Officer, Ugochukwu Uwajeh served as the Group Head, Strategic Communications at the company, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of the communications landscape.
